From the Dean
Welcome to the College of Applied Science and Technology (CAST). It is our goal to provide all students with an enriched educational experience that enables them to immediately practice the concepts learned in the classroom. CAST is accredited by the Association of Technology, Management, and Applied Engineering (ATMAE), and the strength of our college is demonstrated by the graduates we produce.
We provide a variety of degree programs from baccalaureate degrees to associate degrees and certificates.
Our bachelor's degree programs include Bachelor of Applied Science, Bachelor of Science in Organizational Leadership, and Bachelor of Science in Animation Technology.
The Associate of Applied Science degree programs offered in CAST include Computer Graphic Technology, Electronics Technology, Legal Studies, Office Management Technology, Automotive Technology, Welding Technology, and Workforce Leadership.
We maintain strong connections to the business community and promote internships in a variety of organizations such as U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, U.S. Department of Energy, Arkansas Oklahoma Gas, Oklahoma Gas and Electric, attorneys’ offices, doctors’ offices, hospitals, and television stations. These work-based learning opportunities provide students with hands-on experience in their fields of study and often result in job offers before graduation.
In addition to our excellent programs, we have exceptional faculty members. Our faculty is comprised of credentialed industry professionals who are well respected in their areas of expertise. Further, we pride ourselves on our commitment to students and their success.
