Program Overview

This degree will enable a student or an industry to design an individualized program of study to fulfill a unique career goal that cannot be met through the completion of any single technical certificate or specific associate's degree program presently offered at the University. With the approval of the academic advisor or dean, the student will select courses from one or more technical disciplines and develop a coherent technical program containing a major technical focus and support courses related to the career objectives. The yearly starting salary in the Fort Smith area is $18,000-26,000.

Upon completion of the program, graduates will be able to:

  • Meet individualized career goals as assessed in their technical fields of study.
